LOVE

What is love?

Yeah not going into that but I do want everyone to know how much love I have for Mr. Hammer! This is evidence of only a small portion of my love!

I LOVE to surprise him!

This weekend my Dad, 2 brothers, sister in law, and sister in law's sister came to stay. It was a blast! We ended up at boondock's and if anyone asks my dad is the master gocarter! ha He would tell us numbers of the slowest cars telling us they were the fastest. We sucked it up againts a bunch of little kids at laser tag. I dominated at mini golf. Screamed at a little kid for soaking us in the bumper boats. And bought everyone rings with the tickets we won in the arcade. It was a great time!

Anyway so today was Sunday. We now have 130 church... It has got to be the worst time for church. I just dont think it is right to have breakfast and lunch before you go to church. Ontop of all that... its during our normal nap time. Need I say more?? But in the end we love the Lord and we go to church and enjoy ourselves. :)

Today after a long day at church we decided we needed to do something together. So Tyler suggested we go to Martin Harris' grave. Weird and random. Yes. But it was a good time.

It was a nice drive and when is it not fun to walk hand in hand around a graveyard? ;)

I love musicals.

All musicals.

Ok most musicals. There are some aka Rent that the world could live without. I could not live my life the the fullest without all the disney classics! And little did I know as a child they are musicals too!! YES! Life is so wonderful when you grow up and you learn childhood wonders are even better then you thought! ;)

Anyway... Why am I talking about this? Well one cause Lion King is in SLC right now and I want to go REALLY bad! And two cause in about a month we will need to buy our tickets to The Forgotten Carols!

We went last year for the first time! I have grown up listening to the music but I had no idea it was a musical and when I found out I was there in a heartbeat! I talked about it everyday til the tickets came on sale and then alot until it actually happened and then even more when it was over cause I HAD to see it again!

It changed my life. Our life. I feel like it was tender mercy from the Lord for us at that time. How great is our Heavenly Father?! How wonderful are his tender mercies?! I cant describe to you how I feel about each but I tell you I am so very THE most grateful!

I LOVE musicals! I LOVE The Forgotten Carols! Go out and buy tickets! :)

So.. The other night I had a dentist appt... AGAIN! I really am freakin sick of the dentist! Like MAJOR! I have never been to the dentist so much in my life then I have been in the past 6 weeks. AND to make matters worse the dentist and the dentist drugs have made all kinds of things wacked out in my body... so and basically I AM SO FREAKIN SICK OF GOING TO THE DENTIST!

Ok! I just had to get that out! :)

As you all read about recently it was Mr. Hammer's birthday! One of the things we didnt have the time to do over the weekend was go to one of his favorite resturants! One he has been trying to get me to try forever. I just dont cause its like all centered around meat and we all know how I feel about meat... its just not my favorite. :) So after going to the dentist in Ogden we drove down to SLC to go to Tucano's Brazilian Grill. (Which was way good and way fun! But we always have a good time together! He just lights up my world even in a meat centered enviroment!)

On the ride down we say a sign outside a doggy daycare/grooming place that said they sold BYU and UofU dog clothes! AWESOME! We had to stop and now Charlie is sporting our team too! Its just about the custest thing you have EVER seen!

Speaking about football.. Our season tickets are here and the first game is in 2 weeks! Im so super stoked!!... about getting to go to The Brick Oven! Only the best resturant in the whole planet! And only in Provo! YAY for football!! ;)

My Mr. Hammer is 26!

What an old man! :)

As you all know I LOVE birthdays! So much so I was sad I didnt live up to this last year for his birthday so I was trying to come up with the BEST birthday EVER!

Of course Mr. Hammer just wanted to spend it with me... doing whatever. My guess is dinner and movie. He loves movies. I hate going to the movies but I suffer every other week or so for the pure joy and love he feels for me to go with him! Its awesome! Being married is AMAZING when its to such an AMAZING LOVING KIND SELFLESS man! :D

Anyway.. Birthday... So I decided I would throw him a surprise party! Awesome idea right?! Well it was! I called up one of his friends and said hey will you call everyone. Which he did. I ordered a butt load pizza and found an ALL ice cream cake! (He hates cake so it was a two layer cake... choc ice cream and vanilla ice cream! :) And BAM!! It was a blast and I know he was happy to chill with the "dudes" again!

One problem.. I forgot my camera. :( Which sucks cause it was blast and I wish I could share!

The next day Tyler played golf and yada yada and his birthday wish came true! (no.. not what you are thinking.. ;) ok yes what you are thinking... :) but his other wish. He wanted new glasses!

I know lame right?... WRONG! These glasses rock my world! He is super sexy! Well he already was but you get the point.

The next day (Sunday) he took me on a birthday adventure. We drove to the middle of somewhere and layed on a blanket and watched the stars come out! "awww..." Yeah thats right awwww. It rocked my world! :D

This man is the light of my world! He is my everything! I cannot tell you how much his love means to me! And Im so excited for him to be an old man with me (well me not being the old man just the lady with the old man.. wait that doesnt sound better... ummm...whatever. you get the point! :)!

Fishing....

Before this summer started I started a list of things I wanted to do this summer. Well I guess if you could even call it a list. All it was was a piece of paper on my desk at work that I would scribble on when I thought of something I wanted to do.. Anyway... One of those things was fishing. I have never gone fishing before. SHOCK. But not really. If ya know me. ;)

Well I married into a VERY outdoors kind of family. Which is great (for the most part) cause I get to do all those things I never thought I would (never wanted to do ;).

Tylers dad calls and asks us to go fishing with him and the boy grandkids. I was ALL over this. Fishing was on the list. I HAD to!

So Im super excited so Im telling everyone at work. In my mind fishing seems so fun and the fish are so cute... little did I know this was a horrible. bloody, smash them on the head if they arent dead "sport". (fyi never ask about fishing and expect to hear stories of cute fish and a great tan)

So now Im a little worried. But we go buy me a license to fish stay the night with momma and pappa hammer and wake up WAY too early for a saturday. We drive out to the middle of no where. Set up to fish. nothing... still nothing....

WHY DO PEOPLE THINK THIS IS FUN?!!

But then it happens! I cast my line in! Something is tugging! I start reeling it in! This fish is mad! Its going crazy! It even looks wierd like it didnt bite the hook! Why does it look like it is flapping?! Wait... What is that?! A BIRD!! *scream* All the little boys are laughing. Yes, I did. I caught a bird. Right out of the sky. :) It is the only thing I have ever caught fishing cause nothing was biting that day.

By the end I was dirty and miserable but really happy about my first fishing trip catching birds! :)

(Tyler is always so GREAT at helping me and then letting me be done when its too much outdoors! What an AMAZING guy!!! He's so GREAT at everything! :D )

-sorry there is no pictures of me fishing.. I was either behind the camera or freaking out I had caught a bird with my fishing pole! :)

This is our 100th post! Can you believe it?!

And it just so happens that last night last yeat Tyler Hammer asked me to be with him for internity!

Our life has been so wonderful! The time has just been flying by!! We have had our share of ups and downs but in the end we are just as happy as could be. Its so fun to look back and see how far we have come in our love and wonder how it could ever get better than this?! But it can... and it will!! I just know! :D

I love him with everything I am!

This week was the first of many times in our life Tyler job will take him away from me. :( It was the first time he went on a flight and was gone over night. sad. :( It was horrible to sleep alone and know he was chillin in a hotel room far away from me. But at the same time I am so proud of what he has done. He wanted to be a pilot and he is! He's worked so hard. It amazes me! Plus he just looks so freaking good in his "pilot" pants! ;)

Also, I just have to shar this. Charlie is so cute always trying to sneak a lick or a bite at whatever you are eating. He succeeded with Tyler's ice cream! And it was so cute we had to take a picture! :) Enjoy!
